So today I’m doing my second face of the day because I’ve been a bit more experimental with my makeup lately and I’ve been wearing different eye looks and lip colours to switch it up every day. Again, I’m only going to talk about the eyes and lips, but I also wanted to mention my new foundation because I sadly ran out of my NARS one and had to get a drugstore one to last me until I go to London to get Charlotte Tilbury Magic. This one has been quite hyped up in the beauty blogging and vlogging community lately so I decided to get it and I’ve been pretty impressed!
My face makeup was the same as always, although lately I’ve been using my new L’oreal Infallible 24-Hour Matte foundation in the shade 20 sand. For two years straight, I never wore foundation until this year when I got my NARS one, and that one is so light that it was a bit of a shock to feel how thick the consistency of this one is. However, it’s not hard to apply and it doesn’t feel thick or cake-y on the skin at all, which is what I love. I’m also a big fan of glowy skin but not so much of matte but I really like this foundation! It’s amazing for the price too. I primed my eyes using the Urban Decay Eden primer, it’s matte and works so well at making your eyeshadows last all day long, I just have the little tester packet that came with one of my Naked palettes. Recently I’ve returned to using my trusty Naked Basics palette, which I used to use all the time! I used the shade Naked 2 all over my lid and the shade Faint in my crease, then used Benefit They’re Real! Push Up Liner as always. I used the Benefit They’re Real! Tinted Primer mini that came with Elle magazine a couple months back, then my Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara which is currently running down, though I’m planning to get the Haute & Naughty mascara that’s part of the MAC Ellie Goulding collection so I hope that’s good and isn’t just one of those products where you pay for the brand name when it’s actually terrible. For lips I used MAC’s Subculture lip liner as always, then I used my MAC Glaze Lipstick in the shade Hue over the top. I hadn’t worn these two together for a long time until I filmed my Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015 makeup look, and then I remembered how much I loved them together!
