If you’ve learnt anything about me since I started my blog, it’s that I love having glowy skin. In fact, one of my very first posts was on how to get a glowy skin complexion but since then I have discovered new products that still help me achieve beautiful, glowing radiance. One of my favourite discoveries in the glowy makeup department has been Becca Cosmetics’ range of shimmering skin perfectors, namely the original and pressed formulas. I’m going to go through my process of using my Becca products to give myself gorgeously glowing skin.
1. PREP
Work the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal in with your fingertips, using it as a primer and a glowy base.
2. BASE
Mix a pump of the same Shimmering Skin Perfector in with a pump of your foundation, and apply with a slightly damp makeup sponge. Using the Shimmering Skin Perfector used twice on your face as a base will make your skin appear more radiant.
3. HIGHLIGHT
To have that highlight on fleek, you’re going to be better off using a liquid based highlight and then setting it with a powder highlight, to ensure your highlight stays all day. Plus, using two products will give you a more glowy highlight than using one. After contouring and applying blush, pat it in with your fingertips, and be careful not to use to much. I apply to the tops of my cheekbones, down my nose, my browbone and my cupid’s bow.
4. SET
Now you set the liquid highlight with a powder one, using none other than the iconic Becca Champagne Pop. As well as applying it over the liquid highlight, I take the excess left on my brush and sweep it across my forehead to give a subtle glow over my foundation.
Then finish off your makeup with liner and lipstick, and you’re good to go!
