We all know how much I love The Weeknd, so when his H&M collection previewed at the start of February I knew it had to be mine and when it came out I ran to H&M and got the XO hoodie. From day one it was a struggle to get anything from the collection, especially any piece with Abel’s iconic XO logo. Nearly everything was sold out online and despite having two H&M stores in Brighton, only a few pieces were left, leaving me with only one thing from my favey’s collection.
The grey and black XO jumpers popped back up not long after the collection was first dropped and after having a fret because there were no XS sizes left, 5’3 me took a size small to the changing rooms and made an insane discovery that I was short enough to wear a mens jumper as a dress. I’ve been after a t-shirt or jumper dress for ages but they always happen to look like tents on me, even in a petite size, and the solution this whole time was just to get a men’s small jumper.
I’m obsessed with this one because while it’s part of The Weeknd’s collection, it still looks tasteful and not like 13-year-old me wearing Lady Gaga and Jessie J tops every single day. The big XO print on the back ~adds something~ to the mostly plain and minimal jumper and there’s also a tiny XO on the front to just rub it in your face that I love Abel.
While this jumper is no longer in stock online (I know I got this post up like a month and a half after the collection dropped so a bit late to the party soz) I’m p sure there are still the odd few left in different H&M stores around the country, and a whole load of other good stuff from The Weeknd’s Spring Icons collection is still available online here.
