My Clinique Picks

I’m pretty sure I mentioned in a blog post or YT video at the start of the year that it was my goal to find some holy grail skincare products (other than my trusty No7 hot cloth cleanser) and build an everyday skincare routine for myself. Over the Summer I was able to try out different travel size Clinique skincare products that I was given at work, and I also invested some of my own money into a couple other Clinique skincare products. I’ve fallen in love with every single one of their skincare items I now own, so I wanted to compile them into one list to share with you.

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I’ve mentioned this before, in fact I wrote an in-depth review on it which you can read here. It’s a moisturiser that feels so lightweight but is super hydrating and nourishing, and I now swear by it.

Turnaround Overnight Revitalising Moisturiser

This feels so lush and rich on the skin without feeling like it’s too heavy or it’s clogging your pores. I use this at night and wake up to my skin looking radiant and feeling ~plumped~.

7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula

I can’t tell you how much I adore this. I use it in the evening to give my skin a good exfoliating and scrub away any dirty and impurities left over after my previous skincare steps. It’s gentle on the skin but still very effective.

Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand I think it’s magic, I’ve never used anything that gets off your makeup so easily and it feels so lovely on the skin. I was head over heels in love with this until I had one of the worst breakouts I’ve ever had not long after starting to use this. I’m not sure if it was actually because of this product but I stopped using it afterwards, though I’m going to go back to it and trail it for a longer period of time to see if this really does break me out or not. I’d still recommend it because it may not break out your skin since everyone’s skin is different and it honestly is like magic to me.

Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+

Every so often I’ll use this one in the morning when I need to feel really fresh and awake, and need my skin to look fresh and awake too. It gives my dry skin enough moisture and makes my skin look nice and glowy on mornings when I’ve not had enough sleep and I look dull.

Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes and Lips

For some reason I can’t find this on Clinique’s website so I linked the next best place to buy from. This is actual magic, I can’t tell you how much of a miracle worker this is. It’s so gentle on the eyes, I’ve used other removers that are gentle but still give the slightest sting, but with this you feel absolutely nothing and all your makeup wipes away the very first time you place the cotton pad with this remover on your eyes, as opposed to taking a few wipes to get everything off. It’s magical, I need to buy myself a bigger bottle because I love it so bloody much.

I definitely want to try out loads more skincare products from Clinique, namely the Overnight Mask and Face Spray from the Moisture Surge range, and the Clinical Clearing Gel and Cleansing Foam from the Anti-Blemish Solutions range. I don’t know how soon you’ll be hearing me talk about those, though, because I’m trying to give myself a fashion and beauty spending ban right up until my trip to NYC in two months, so maybe I’ll just lust after them for a while and hope that they turn up in my life as Christmas or birthday gifts at the end of the year. Pls give me strength for this spending ban.

Have you got any other skincare faves from Clinique? Let me know so I can try them out! (when my spending ban is over lol struggles)
