Victoria’s Secret Angel Suite, New Bond Street

On Sunday 10th January I, along with two of my closest friends, had two amazing hours at the Angel Suite in Victoria’s Secret on New Bond Street, as my late birthday celebration. Everyone’s been asking me how it was, what it was like and so on, so I thought that I’d make a blog post out of it as I took loads of photos and I wanted to speak about my experience in the suite!

a panorama of the suite (with Courtney on the side!)

The Angel Suite is free and I’m pretty sure there’s also no purchase necessary, although you’d definitely end up buying something anyway. As long as you book it in advance, it’s all yours and you don’t even have to pay for it. A year ago, Rebecca and I went to this Victoria’s Secret and it was both our first times there, and we saw the Angel Suite on the top floor and kept wondering what it was and how one could possibly get in there! I looked into it a while after and decided that I wanted to go there, so it ended up being my belated birthday celebration.

The suite itself is so beautiful, the room is decorated with accents of bright pink (obviously) and looks glamorous and sophisticated, with photos of the angels everywhere. There are four private dressing rooms within the suite, and each of the four dressing rooms also has its own bathroom with two perfume testers in every bathroom and one of the signature Victoria’s Secret silk robe in each room, as well as a large mirror, a pretty pink interior and a pink seat or chaise to match.

When we arrived at Victoria’s Secret itself, we were taken up to the suite by one of the staff members who let us in to put down our coats and bags, then gave us shopping bags to go around the store and pick up whatever we wanted to come back and try on. She quickly measured us too, but while we were walking around the store and browsing, another staff member offered to do a proper bra fitting for all of us so we did, then we picked up things in the store in the sizes we were and in the styles we’d been recommended. Then the fun part, we got to go back to the Angel Suite with our bags brimming with lingerie, and go in the private dressing rooms to try everything on!

We felt like proper celebrities or VIPs or something whenever we’d walk in or out of the suite. The Angel Suite is on the top floor where the normal bathrooms are (those are so pretty too) and there are some sofas outside, so everytime we’d go in or out of the suite people would look and wonder why we were allowed in there, we felt so famous!

The staff were very attentive, we were offered drinks and after we’d tried everything on we were able to sit in the main room of the suite and just chill for a bit (and take loads of photos) then we conveniently got to pay at a quiet checkout on the top floor when we were done and our time was up.

The experience of the Angel Suite at Victoria’s Secret New Bond Street is one of a kind, it’s such a treat and it feels so luxurious – and it’s free to book! I’m definitely planning to go back in the near future, hopefully when Becca comes to visit in the Summer since I first saw the suite with her so we’ve just got to experience it together. I wholeheartedly recommend it, whether it’s for an occasion or you just want to feel a bit fancy or famous while you’re doing some shopping, or if you’re visiting from abroad then you should definitely book it.

NOTE: Since this post was published, the top floor of Victoria’s Secret New Bond Street London was refurbished. The Angel Suite no longer looks like this, it’s smaller and in a different part of the top floor. From memory (I’ve been to the newer one too) the main room is much smaller with one sofa and acts as a hallway for the fewer changing rooms within it, and there aren’t any marble bathrooms. Super sorry if you book expecting the pics from this post but we can still appreciate how pretty and big it used to be!
